With QR ordering, guests scan a code on their table, choose food and drinks from the digital menu and send the order themselves. Instead of notepads and walking back and forth, orders go straight to the screens in the kitchen, bar, service area and cashier. Your staff still matter. They just spend less time writing things down and walking, and more time with your guests.
How an order works
- Open the table: staff activate the table with one tap when guests sit down.
- Scan the code: guests scan the QR code on their table. The menu opens in the browser, no app needed.
- Order: guests add dishes and drinks to the basket, with notes such as “no onions” if they like, and tap “Order”.
- Kitchen and bar: the kitchen only sees dishes and the bar only sees drinks, each sorted by table. A chime and a briefly flashing card flag every new order.
- Mark as ready: when something is ready, the kitchen or bar taps it. Service sees right away what can be picked up.
- Order more: guests can order again at any time without waiting for staff.
- Pay: when a table asks for the bill, it moves to the top of the cashier screen with every item and the total. After payment the table is closed and free again straight away.
What it does for your business
- Less walking: no more order slips carried to the kitchen and bar.
- Fewer mistakes: no hard-to-read handwriting, no forgotten items.
- More repeat orders: the second drink or the dessert is just one tap away.
- Overview: the floor plan shows at a glance which tables are free, which have ordered and which want to pay.
- International guests: the menu is available in several languages, so guests order in their own language.
What to look out for
- One code per table: every order has to reach the right table. With us each table has its own protected link, so nobody can order onto someone else’s table.
- Guests who prefer to order in person: staff should be able to add items themselves. In Smart ServiceHub™ they do that right on the tablet.
- Discretion: tablets in the dining room are often visible to guests, so the Service Hub only shows amounts after a table is tapped.
- Devices: no special hardware needed. Any tablet or phone with a browser will do, and the screens can be installed as an app.
- Internet: guests and staff need a connection, for example your Wi-Fi.

Frequently asked questions
Do guests need an app?
No. After scanning, the menu opens directly in the phone’s browser.
Does the ServiceHub replace my till?
No. The ServiceHub shows what a table has ordered and what it owes. Tax-compliant billing and receipts still come from your usual till system.
What if a guest would rather order from staff?
Staff add the items on the tablet themselves. They reach the kitchen, bar and cashier just the same.
How many tables can I set up?
As many as you like. The number of tables is not limited.
